Each coffee bag comes individually wrapped in a foil bag and the minute you open it you get a powerful scent of coffee waft into your face.
There are four different coffees that you can try and it is very simple to produce your perfect cup of coffee. Simply add the bag to your mug, pour in boiling water, leave for a few mins, remove and drink. Here are the four different coffees you could experience:
SIDAMO, ETHIOPIA, AFRICA (Red packaging)
Strength – 2/5
Tasting Notes – High notes of blackcurrant, stone fruit and acidic red cherry. Light on the tongue with an aromatic, fruity finish.
SAN IGNACIO, PERU, SOUTH AMERICA (DECAF) (Blue packaging)
Strength – 2/5
Tasting Notes – Smooth, mild and sweet with good notes of roasted peanut, soft milk chocolate and cookie dough. Medium-bodied with mild acidity and slight burnt sugar sweetness.
GUATEMALA, CENTRAL AMERICA (Gold packaging)
Strength – 3/5
Tasting Notes – Rich and full flavoured with fruity acidity and good body. Notes of almond and toffee with a distinct acidic finish.
SUMATRA, INDONESIA, SOUTH EAST ASIA (Green packaging)
Strength – 4/5
Tasting Notes – Rich, indulgent and full-bodied with notes of peach syrup and spices with subtle acidity and intense dark chocolate finish.
From the tasting note descriptions on the packaging I loved the sound of the Decaf notes, cookie dough being my favourite ice cream! But my favourite was the Sumatra coffee which I highly recommend if you enjoy a strong coffee.
The luxury of these coffee bags is that you get the same amazing taste of coffee without the need to have a cafetière or percolator. Plus, you don’t have to wash anything up! I also love coffee at work or on the go but can’t always take a cafetière with me. That’s where these come in. You get a perfect cup of coffee which is simply effortless. These are also ideal for camping, on holiday or just generally anywhere where you don’t have access to a cafetière! They would also make a great gift for Birthday’s or Christmas! You can get a selection pack of 4, which is ideal for any coffee lover, or you can buy just the specific flavour/strength you prefer.
I’d definitely recommend these so give them a try. If you sign up on their website you will get 20%, yes a big 20% off your first order. So check them out, support a new business and try your first coffee bags…
Are you convinced? Would you try these coffee bags?
